Our aim is to provide a personalised service, which is tailored to meet individual client requirements. We are UKAS accredited to carry out Bulk Analysis of samples for asbestos content, Air Testing and Asbestos Surveying (Inspection Body Status). We are able to offer Type I, II, & III asbestos surveys as described in MDHS 100, analysis of samples for asbestos content, and provide asbestos management advice including the production of management plans, removal specifications, and project management.

Our senior staff have a combination of over 30 years experience in the asbestos industry. As a minimum all lead surveyors hold the BOHS Proficiency Certificate in Building Surveys and Bulk Sampling for Asbestos (P402). In addition our technical director holds the BOHS oral qualification of Certified Competent Person (Asbestos) commonly known as CCP. This authorises the holder to undertake quality auditing of personnel undertaking surveying and sampling activities as well as undertaking routine work.

About asbestos and how it affects everyone.

Asbestos regulations have grown over the last half century, as the dangers have been shown to effect not only those engaged in the mining of asbestos and those working in the manufacture of asbestos products, but also to the public at large.

For the general public the danger from asbestos has only come to light as they have discovered just how many products in everyday use contain asbestos and how this harmful fibre can be released when such products are scrapped or refurbished.

Asbestos fibre is at its most dangerous when in its raw state when being mined and in the production process and when it or the products that contain it start to wear out or are broken down and scrapped. It as this final stage when it starts to effect the unaware.

Due to the extended timescale between expose and its harmful effects much of the law relating to it use have been running far behind events.

That situation has now all changed, the most recent amendments are now incorporating Pan European Regulations and counting methods from the World Health Organisation.

It can now be said that Asbestos Regulation has come of age for the public at large, and the principle place where this legislation will be acted upon will be in the work place

No one can ignore the regulations or plead ignorance any more.
